Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
About
Listen, Journey, Discover
I began the journey to becoming a bereavement counselor as a result of engagement with a hospice agency when my grandparents were transitioning from this life. I am certified in Thanatology so that I can treat those with life limiting illnesses, those who are actively dying, and those who have experienced a death whether natural, unnatural, or untimely. While attending college I became interested in trauma studies and learned how trauma is the root of many challenges people face. I have resources and a therapeutic teaching style as I journey with and discover with clients what the root causes of challenges are, how to resolve them, or how to cope more effectively.
